Transfer Incept

Transfer New Student Orientation

Transfer students can pick from two different new student orientation programs. Each orientation includes the same information but has a different structure.

A registration fee is required for all orientation options for incoming freshman and transfer students. This fee covers the expense of meals, printed materials and other administrative costs. The fee is not covered by scholarships, including HOPE, or financial aid. A separate registration fee is required for parents, family and guests. Each student may register up to two guests.

This half day program of orientation activities is designed for students and their guests. This option provides a basic introduction to the university, focusing primarily on academic advisement and course registration. This program is designed for incoming freshman or transfer students entering in the fall semester who were unable to attend orientation in June or July or incoming students entering in the spring or summer semesters.
Note: Online Pre-orientation is required for transfer students.

Transfer students who do not complete the pre-orientation program before attending orientation will not be able to register for classes until they fulfill the requirement.

Complete the online pre-orientation now. For help accessing the pre-orientation program, contact the Help Desk at 404-413-4357.
