Advice for an Incoming Student: This is the time of your life where you WILL make mistakes, and it is expected. Ask for help when you need it. Own your mistakes, fix them, and grow from them. You have the resources to support you, but you must reach out for help if you need it. (Also, please call your family. They love you and worry about you.)

Destiny is the New Student Orientation Coordinator for all Perimeter Campuses. She received her B.F.A. from Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. She graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Master’s of Higher Education in Student Affairs. Destiny has devoted her professional career to advocating for First-Generation Students and developing students to be leaders in the work force. Outside of work, Destiny loves exploring all the amazing food Atlanta has to offer, spending time with her family, and playing with her pup, Sophia.
