Proof of immunization is an important step to completing the enrollment process.

For all students attending Georgia State for the first time, the immunization requirements have been revised by the Board of Regents to include measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), tetanus and diphtheria, varicella (chickenpox) and hepatitis B (in addition to the meningitis law affecting students who reside in University Housing). For more information, see the Georgia State University Student Health Clinic. Students will be able to register for classes at orientation even if immunization documentation has not been received by the Student Health Clinic.

Unless immunization records are submitted to the Student Health Clinic (not to Admissions) before the first day of classes, holds will be placed on student accounts to prevent registration beginning the day after the end of late registration until the requirements are satisfied. For questions, please contact the immunization office at 404-413-1930, or visit the Student Health Clinic for a blank certificate of immunization.
