Parent, Family & Guest New Student Orientation
Georgia State University is eager to involve parents, family members and guests of students in the college experience. Guests of students entering Georgia State University are invited to attend orientation with their student. Please note that guests will have a separate schedule of meetings and activities during some parts of the orientation program.
Students can register up to two guests for their selected orientation day. Guests will only be confirmed for the orientation that their student is attending, and they should be registered online through PAWS at the same time as the student. Children age under three are not required to be registered or pay to attend orientation. Students and their guests who choose to register for orientation through the payment by mail option should indicate the number of guests attending orientation on the registration form.
