Instructional Clinics Try Me Week
6 a.m. – 9 p.m. | Student Recreation Center
Not sure which clinic to take? Try one, two or as many as you would like for free during Try Me Week. Each clinic will be offering a demo of the regularly scheduled class. All instructional clinics will be available.  So try one (or four!) to find the clinic that is right for you. Classes offered daily. Visit Recreational Services for class schedules. Valid Panther ID required for entry.
Ask Me Booths
8 a.m. – 5 p.m. | Various Locations
Trying to find your way around? Stop by one of the Ask Me Booths located around campus during the first week of classes. Faculty, staff and students will be on hand to guide you with directions and maps, plus you’ll get a Georgia State freebie (while supplies last)!
Mega Enrollment Services Center
8:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. | Student Center Ballroom
 The Mega Enrollment Services Center is a centralized enrollment services center where new students can receive assistance with all their enrollment needs, as well as additional support for getting off to a successful start at Georgia State. Services include: Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Registrar, Immunization, University Housing, Campus Services, Bookstore and Information Systems & Technology. Bookstore pick-up will be available until 7 p.m. Sponsored by Enrollment Services.
Food and Toiletry Drive
8:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. | Various Locations
The Dean of Students office will host a food and toiletry drive to stock items that will assist students in need. Bins will be placed in designated Student Affairs offices to collect items during the first two weeks of school (August 17 – September 2, 2016). You may drop off donations at any designated location between 8:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m., Monday – Friday. See designated drop off locations and items being collected. A portion of collected goods will be donated to the Panther Pantry.
PantherQuest
1 – 4 p.m. |Various Locations Around Campus
Make your way around campus collecting giveaways, free food, and information about various offices. Start off your quest off at New Student Orientation to get a bag for gathering your treasures and a map of all the places to visit along the way. Complete your quest, and you can be entered into a drawing to win a $100 voucher to the bookstore!
Civic Engagement Open House

Visit Civic Engagement to meet our staff and learn how to get involved in community service projects in the greater Atlanta community, the southeast and abroad.
Multicultural Center Open House
1 – 3 p.m. |Student Center East, Suite 206
This event invites the Georgia State University community to join the Multicultural Center and meet our student organizations, departments within the Division of Student Affairs, and more! Student organizations and departments are invited to contact cwan@gsu.edu for tabling requests.

Internships and Co-ops: What Freshmen Need to Know
4 – 5 p.m. | Dahlberg Hall, Room 133
What’s the difference between an internship and a co-op? Can I intern as a freshman? The Co-op and Internship Team will answer these and other FAQs and discuss ways you can get career experience as a freshman. This program will be presented twice. Space is limited, so please RSVP by email Co-ops and Internships with your name, campus ID and which session you’d like to attend. Include the presentation title in the subject.
