Instructional Clinics Try Me Week
6 a.m. – 9 p.m. | Student Recreation Center
Not sure which clinic to take? Try one, two or as many as you would like for free during Try Me Week. Each clinic will be offering a demo of the regularly scheduled class. All instructional clinics will be available. So try one (or four!) to find the clinic that is right for you. Classes offered daily. Visit Recreational Services for class schedules. Valid Panther ID required for entry.
Ask Me Booths
9 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Various Locations
Trying to find your way around? Stop by one of the Ask Me Booths located around campus during the first week of classes. Faculty, staff and students will be on hand to guide you with directions and maps, plus you’ll get a Georgia State freebie (while supplies last)!
Mega Enrollment Services Center
8:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. | Student Center Ballroom
The Mega Enrollment Services Center is a centralized enrollment services center where new students can receive assistance with all their enrollment needs, as well as additional support for getting off to a successful start at Georgia State. Services include: Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Registrar, Immunization, University Housing, Campus Services, Bookstore and Information Systems & Technology. Bookstore pick-up will be available until 7 p.m. Sponsored by Enrollment Services.
Food and Toiletry Drive
8:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. | Various Locations
The Dean of Students office will host a food and toiletry drive to stock items that will assist students in need. Bins will be placed in designated Student Affairs offices to collect items during the first two weeks of school (August 17 – September 2, 2016). You may drop off donations at any designated location between 8:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m., Monday – Friday. See designated drop off locations and items being collected. A portion of collected goods will be donated to the Panther Pantry.

Welcome Reception for Ethnic & Interfaith Communities
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Student Center East 206
This event invites members of religious, faith and ethnic communities to campus. Refreshments provided. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend.
On Campus Job Fair
1 – 3 p.m. | Dahlberg Hall, Veteran’s Memorial Hall

Welcome Reception for LGBTQIQA Community
4 – 6 p.m.| Student Center East 206
This annual event invites members of the LGBTQIQA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Questioning and Asexual) community and their supportive allies to campus each year. Refreshments provided. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend.
