Incept Schedule

Schedules

At orientation, incoming students will be introduced to the people, places, processes and programs that help provide a successful transition into the Georgia State University community. When students leave orientation, they will be registered for the first semester of classes. New student orientation leaders, Georgia State students, will assist incoming students throughout the day. They want incoming students to ask questions, have fun and get to know Georgia State. Since orientation provides a lot of important information in a short period of time, incoming students will be very busy.

Here’s a sneak peak at what students will do at orientation:

  • Tour the campus and surrounding area.
  • Learn need to know basics about various departments and programs.
  • Explore the world of campus life and student activities.
  • Receive their PantherCard.
  • Get to know new classmates.
  • Meet important faculty and staff members.
  • Review enrollment and financial aid issues.
  • Receive academic advisement and register for classes.
